"Chef Was Cute" is an original painting, inspired by a delightful dinner with friends. The clinking of wine glasses, the rich taste of seafood and side-splitting laughter echoing through the evening. Oh and the Chef was cute!

A reflection of those small moments, that make life so special. You can spot the wine glass, the fish on a plate, lemons, cutlery, a napkin and flowers. A small snapshot of a shared meal.

The illustration style is a small pivot from my earlier works. The brush strokes are loose and free, the colour palette is more contrasting with bright yellows, paired with green, blue and black tones.
