Somethin' Somethin' Cafe - Illustrations

When the lovely husband and wife duo behind Somethin' Somethin' Café spotted one of my local murals, they reached out to me to bring some summery vibes into their cafe! We talked about inspiration and included some cool references which had personal meaning to their family, as well as icons which had a strong local connection.

I pitched one solid concept, and they were instantly on board with the illustrations I had created! We added a few extra icons and settled on a fresh color palette featuring zesty green and warm terracotta—perfect for that playful, summery feel. 

The end result is fun, friendly, and inviting. The illustrations capture the spirit of summer and the café's connection to nature and all things typical for our local Mount Maunganui Beach scene.
