This is hands down one of my favourite murals to date! With public murals, I like to go bigger and brighter than my original paintings. This mural for the Chorus Cabinet Art Project is no different!
I answered an artist callout via Creative Bay of Plenty on behalf of Chorus. After unsuccessfully pitching for this project previously, I was delighted to hear my submission was selected this year!
My design, "All is Love" 🌈 is a vibrant celebration of inclusivity and diversity, brought to life through bold elements. I used a playful mix of scale, hue, and shape to explore the theme of inclusivity and diversity.
This street art piece isn't just about aesthetics; it’s a community mural designed to spark conversations, inspire empathy, and promote a sense of togetherness in our local area.
It’s been an honor to contribute this mural to my hometown and enhance our shared space with meaningful art. I love bringing joy and inspiration to everyone who passes by!

Creating the concept
Using a similar technique to my previous mural, I created the initial elements using a paper collage.
Once I was happy with the overall feel, I scanned the elements into Adobe Illustrator. I then played with shape and colour to get the right balance and scale.
