How sweet is this little doorstep scene?! š” I donāt usually draw architecture, but something about the reference I came across in a magazine! Those leafy trees, the block work, the door... it was really fun to sketch.
I loved stepping outside my usual subject matter and getting into the rhythm of the lines and shapes. Itās giving a neighbourhood charm that we don't often get here in New Zealand. I think I need to add more tiny houses to my sketchbook lineup...
